Optical workshops are an important part of optical stores and play a critical role in the satisfaction of eyeglass wearers. The Opticianry workshop, located on the 3rd floor of B Block at Istanbul Gelişim University, is a working environment where Opticianry Program students perform various operations on eyeglass lenses and frames. In this workshop,
operations such as cutting and installing lenses suitable for the patients' prescriptions and frames, repairing broken or damaged eyeglass frames, performing eyeglass maintenance, taking necessary measurements, and making adjustments to ensure the glasses fit correctly are carried out.
