BISTLAB Finance Laboratory, established in cooperation with Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences (FEASS) and Borsa Istanbul, has been put into operation to enable students to gain experience in financial markets and instruments and to promote financial literacy. The laboratory, which is open to undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and continuing education center students, allows theoretical knowledge to be learned practically under real market conditions. The laboratory provides hands-on training in key financial areas such as portfolio and risk management, algorithmic processing, and data analysis. It has a capacity of 60 people, modern hardware infrastructure, and software support for simulating financial transactions. BISTLAB also aims to contribute to projects based on university-industry cooperation and research in the field of financial technologies. Thus, it is possible to increase students' financial literacy levels, gain sectoral experience before graduation, develop data-based thinking skills, and contribute to their graduation as well- equipped individuals in university-industry cooperation. The BISTLAB laboratory, which contributes to the research university vision of Istanbul Gelisim University, also serves the mission of FEASS to train preferable individuals at the employment stage.
