The Nursing Laboratory is essential for nursing students to perform the necessary practices in a safe environment before encountering healthy/ill individuals, families, and communities in clinical settings. Located on the Istanbul Gelişim University Health Sciences Faculty campus, the Nursing Laboratory was established to develop the psychomotor skills of Nursing Department students during their practical sessions. It provides care opportunities with semi- simulation patient mannequins in a clinical environment equipped with hospital beds. The aim of the Nursing Laboratory is to contribute to the integration of theory and practice by enabling students to gain competence in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. It aims to enhance problem-solving skills and ensure that students deliver quality and safe care to healthy/ill individuals.
