The Vocational Skills Training Laboratory for the Nursing Department is essential for nursing students to perform the required practices in a safe environment before encountering healthy/ill individuals, families, and communities in clinical settings. This enables them to provide systematic, informed, and professional care to individuals. The aim of Vocational Skills Training Laboratories is to contribute to the integration of theory and practice for students, providing competence in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. It aims to enhance problem-solving skills and enable students to deliver quality and safe care to health/ill individuals by gaining proficiency in their skills. In our institution, the laboratory designated for nursing department students is designed to create an environment closest to a real hospital. In this regard, advanced patient care models are utilized in our laboratory.
